Because we couldn’t settle on who was more deserving between Greenland’s Austin Anderson and Gentry’s Jon Faulkenberry, both have been named ARPreps.com Athletes of the Week for their performances during a historic game last Friday night.
Anderson and Faulkenberry combined for more than 700 yards and 13 touchdowns in Greenland’s 76-71 victory that ended when Gentry’s five-lateral passes on the final play resulted in a Pirates’ fumble recovery.

The Lady Tigers continued their winning ways Tuesday with a victory over Rogers Heritage. Bentonville has been unbeaten so far this season, with the closest margin of victory being a two-stroke win (116-118) over Rogers High on Aug. 31.
